SEO isn’t dead. It has moved from ranking pages to earning answers, judged by a new reader. 2,300+ brands on Nuwtonic now optimize for AI answers the way they optimize for Google, and the ones who started early are already becoming the default answer.
Debarghya RoyFounder, NuwtonicA Claude rank tracker runs the questions your buyers ask Claude, again and again, and records whether your brand is mentioned, where it appears in the answer and which sources Claude cites. Most Claude rank tracking tools stop at a mention count. Nuwtonic takes every prompt from tracking to a fixed page, then checks again.
Track
Your prompts run automatically every day in Claude and the other AI engines, so one lucky or unlucky answer doesn't decide your numbers.
Spot the gap
When Claude doesn't cite you, AI Citation Gap Analysis opens for that prompt and shows the brands and pages it relies on instead.
Fix the page
Add your target URL and run the Advanced Citation Gap Fix. You get content, structure and technical changes, section by section.
Re-run
Run the prompt again with Run now, then let daily runs show whether Claude starts mentioning you, and AI Analytics show the visits it sends.
Every re-run feeds the next day's tracking
Five steps from setup to your first fix. Add your prompts once and daily runs build your Claude ranking history.

The same workflow runs for Claude: track the prompt, see who’s named and cited, get the page fix.
Under 1 min
The prompt runs. Claude names other brands, not yours.
Nuwtonic shows who was cited instead, and the claim they won.
The Citation Gap Fix lists the page changes. Then you re-run the prompt.
Marketers, founders and agencies found out where they stand in AI search, then used Nuwtonic to skyrocket it.
After working with SEO for years, I’ve seen plenty of tools that give you more data than you can actually use. Nuwtonic feels different. I like how it brings SEO, GEO and AI visibility together, with a clean, intuitive UI and a stronger focus on actionable insights.
Mitul D.What I like most about Nuwtonic is how approachable it is for someone who isn’t a dedicated SEO expert. Traditional platforms usually drown you in technical jargon, but Nuwtonic makes it effortless to understand where your site currently stands and exactly how to fix it.
Lucky frog P.Nuwtonic actually bridges the gap between insight and execution, so the whole workflow feels modern, streamlined, and genuinely easy to follow. It turns Google Search Console, competitor gaps, and topical maps into a clear, actionable roadmap.
Mario B.It puts SEO and AEO/GEO in one platform, which nothing else I’ve used pulls off. And it doesn’t stop at monitoring. It hands me specific improvements, so it behaves less like a dashboard and more like an SEO/AEO consultant who’s always on.
What I like most about Nuwtonic is how it combines traditional SEO with GEO/AI-search optimization in one platform. The actionable tips, competitor insights, and AI citation tracking make it easier to see where my site shows up and what to improve.
Chirag N.I like Nuwtonic’s clean interface, which helps us take action on improving client presence. The keyword research and easy-to-use AI prompt tracking are beneficial features. The initial setup was a breeze.
Ankush M.What I like most is that Nuwtonic brings traditional SEO and AI search visibility into the same workflow. The Google Search Console insights, competitor gaps, and content suggestions give me a clearer idea of what to investigate and improve.
It feels much more action-oriented. Instead of only providing rankings, audits, or reports, it helps you connect the dots. Nuwtonic lets me see AI visibility, brand mentions, prompts, and citation gaps.
I’ve been using Nuwtonic for SEO and GEO work, and I’ve had a really good experience so far. I like that it brings SEO data, content planning, internal linking, and AI search visibility into one platform.
After doing an onboarding session and testing it out I can honest say it’s one of the best AEO, AI mode SEO tools I’ve ever used. It connects to GSC and GA and pulls real data.
Philip ChenI’d previously bought SEO and GEO tools. Then I tried Nuwtonic. I can now combine the insights previously provided by two different tools into a single one.
I started using Nuwtonic to help manage our search performance. The main reason we tried it was to see how our content appears in AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
I have limited SEO experience, and I want to better understand the impact of AI search on my site. I’m using Nuwtonic because it seems more AI-forward than older tools that are now adding new AI features.
I have never been an expert in SEO or, more recently, GEO optimizations. In Nuwtonic, I found the solution that aligns seamlessly with the way I think and work.
fsoftThis isn’t just a collection of disconnected AI features. It helps you build a comprehensive strategy for improving visibility and rankings across AI-driven search.
Claude has no results page to rank on. Your Claude rank is how often you're named, where you appear in the answer and which sources back it up, measured across many runs.

When a competitor gets named and you don't, Nuwtonic shows which sources Claude relied on and what your page needs to become one of them.
For every prompt, Nuwtonic lists the pages Claude and the other engines used instead of yours, with their position, how often they're cited and how many prompts they win. Open a row to read the exact claim the answer quoted.

AI Citation Gap Analysis appears on its own for any prompt that doesn't cite you. Enter the URL you want Claude to use, run the Advanced Citation Gap Fix, and in a couple of minutes you get:
Fixes that can be applied automatically are ready to apply. The rest are listed as manual actions to review.

Anthropic says Claude searches the web “when applicable” and cites the sources it used. When it does, it breaks your question into smaller searches. Win those searches and you win the mention.
Nuwtonic lists every fan-out query the engines ran for your prompts, with how often it was used, your citation rate, your average position, a priority score and the sites cited instead.

When Claude doesn't search, it answers from what it already knows about your category, and that comes from the pages, reviews and lists that mention you across the web. Off Page GEO turns the sources AI engines cite into a prioritised list of actions, such as a Reddit reply, a LinkedIn post, a listing to claim or an editor to pitch.
Available after you've run at least 10 prompts. Each generation uses 50 credits.

Google gives you a position. Claude gives a different answer almost every time you ask. A Claude rank tracker tool measures how often you're named across many runs, not one screenshot.
| Traditional rank tracker | Nuwtonic Claude rank tracker | |
|---|---|---|
| What it checks | Your blue-link position for a keyword | Whether Claude mentions your brand, where it appears in the answer and which sources it cites |
| What you track | Keywords | The questions buyers ask, by funnel stage and country |
| How results behave | One position a day | A different answer almost every run, so it measures coverage across daily runs |
| Competitors | Domains ranking above you | Brands and pages Claude uses instead of you, with the quoted claim |
| Engines | Google results | Claude plus ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini, Perplexity, Llama and Grok |
| When you lose | You work out the next step | Citation Gap Fix with section-by-section page changes |
Rankings tell you whether Claude mentions you. Nuwtonic's AI Analytics shows what those mentions are worth. Connect Google Analytics 4 and see how many visitors Claude and other AI assistants send, which pages they land on, where they go next and which pages need work.

See sessions, engagement and time on site for each AI assistant, side by side with Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo on the same page. You'll know whether AI visitors are extra people or the same traffic arriving another way. And when a client or your boss asks whether AI search matters, you'll have the number.
See the pages AI visitors land on and the page they open next. If they already move from a guide to your pricing page, link that path more clearly. If they land and leave, fix the call to action before you write anything new. Pages with AI visits but no key event go on a list of their own.
Pages that are strong in Google but get no AI visits are your content gap: run the Citation Gap Fix on them first. Pages where AI visitors stay longer or view more pages are your best internal-link sources. Link from them to the pages that make you money.

Works with the Google Analytics 4 property you already have: connect it once, no extra tracking code.
Your buyers don't only ask Claude. Each prompt runs in every engine, so you can see where you're recommended and where you drop.

More than 2,300 brands and agencies use Nuwtonic to track and fix their AI search visibility.
Track Claude visibility for several clients with separate brand profiles, then send each one a report. Use the Citation Gap Fix to show clients what changes, not just what dropped.
Track the "best tool for" and comparison questions buyers ask Claude before they book a demo, and see which review sites and roundups it trusts.
Check whether Claude names your products for buying questions, and fix the product and category pages it passes over.

What to do once you're tracking: three tips to track smarter, three to fix your pages and three to win the sources Claude reads off your site.
Track smarterTips 1 to 3
Tip 1Most teams skip this
SparkToro found AI tools, Claude included, give the same list of brands less than 1% of the time. One screenshot proves nothing. Run each prompt daily and judge how often you're named over weeks.
In Nuwtonic: prompts run every day, and brand coverage shows how often you appear across runs.
Tip 2
People ask Claude full questions, not keywords. Track a group of questions across the top, middle and bottom of the funnel and judge the trend for the group, not one prompt.
In Nuwtonic: pick from 90 suggested top, middle and bottom of funnel prompts, or add your own.
Tip 3
When Claude searches, it breaks your question into smaller searches. Find the sub-queries where competitors get cited and answer them clearly on your page.
In Nuwtonic: Query Fan-outs lists each sub-query, who gets cited and a priority score out of 100.
Fix your pagesTips 4 to 6
Tip 4
Open every page Claude cites where you aren't. Note the exact claim it quoted, where it sits on the page and how it's phrased. That's the bar your page has to clear.
In Nuwtonic: Pages beating you lists each URL with its cites; click a row to read the claim it was quoted for.
Tip 5
"Best X for Y" answers name brands with a clear fit. Say plainly who you're for, how you compare and what you cost near the top of the page, then fix only the sections that lose to competitors.
In Nuwtonic: the Advanced Citation Gap Fix tells you what to add, replace or restructure in each section, in a couple of minutes.
Tip 6Easy to miss
Anthropic says blocking Claude-SearchBot or Claude-User may reduce your visibility in Claude's answers. Blocking ClaudeBot only affects training. Claude's web search was reported to use Brave Search, so check that your key pages show up there too.
In Nuwtonic: GEO Audit and Advanced GEO Optimizations flag on-page technical issues. Check robots.txt and Brave Search alongside them.
Win off the pageTips 7 to 9
Tip 7Most teams skip this
When Claude names a competitor, the source behind it is often a review site, a forum thread or a roundup. Be in those places with genuinely useful answers, not drive-by promotion.
In Nuwtonic: Off Page GEO ranks Reddit, LinkedIn, X and YouTube actions by AI citations, competitor gap and priority.
Tip 8
The roundups and review sites Claude keeps citing are the links worth chasing. Claim your profiles, get added to the lists and pitch the editors behind them.
In Nuwtonic: Off Page GEO suggests listings to claim and editors to pitch, based on the sources the engines cite.
Tip 9
Changes take time to show up in Claude's answers. Re-run the prompt once the fix is live, keep it in daily tracking and watch your share against the brands you're trying to displace. Then watch AI Analytics for the visits Claude sends.
In Nuwtonic: Run now re-checks any prompt, and Top 10 Visibility Share tracks your share against competing domains.
From brands to AI SEO agencies, we serve more than 2,300 teams.
“The bulk generation capabilities and GEO tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude feel like a glimpse into the future of search.”
Mario B.“Most platforms are still optimizing for Google’s blue links. Nuwtonic is tracking what actually matters now: whether your brand shows up when someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini for a recommendation.”
Larry PareigisAppSumo · 10 Aug 2026“When I ran my first round of prompt tracking on the questions my customers actually ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, my brand was missing from many of the answers.”
“Traditional rankings are only half the battle now… tracks how and where your brand is being cited across AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.”
“The GEO workflow lets you track AI-search prompts, see whether your brand is showing up and being cited… run a Citation Gap Analysis to understand why competitors are winning those mentions instead.”
“The reports show where my brand is visible in AI answers, where competitors are being cited instead… the audits are clear enough to share with clients.”
A Claude rank tracker runs the questions your buyers ask Claude on a schedule and records whether Claude mentions your brand, where you appear in the answer, which sources it cites and which competitors it names instead. Nuwtonic also runs the same prompts in ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini, Perplexity and other engines, and shows the fix when you're missing.
Connect Google Search Console and pick your property, then add prompts. Nuwtonic suggests 90 prompts across top, middle and bottom of funnel. It runs them every day in Claude and the other engines, and results appear on the Prompt Run screen. Open any prompt to see the full answer, its citations and your share of voice.
You can get free Claude rank tracking with Nuwtonic for 7 days. The trial gives you 500 credits to add and run prompts in Claude and the other engines, see who gets mentioned and cited, and optimize 2 pages with the Citation Gap Fix. You need to sign up first, because checks run inside your Nuwtonic account. When you compare free Claude rank tracking tools, check whether they run each prompt more than once: a single check can't show how often you're mentioned.
Claude has no list of ten blue links. It writes an answer, names brands in an order and, when it searches the web, cites its sources. Your rank is whether you're named, where you appear and how often that happens across runs. Nuwtonic reports it as brand coverage, average position, citation rate and top 3 rate.
Yes, when it needs to. Anthropic says Claude searches the web “when applicable” and gives direct citations so people can check the sources. Web search has been available on all Claude plans since May 2025. For other questions, Claude answers from what it already knows, which is why brand mentions across the web matter as much as your own pages.
Anthropic doesn't publish a ranking source for Claude's answers. When Claude launched web search in March 2025, Brave Search appeared in Anthropic's list of subprocessors, and an early Profound test found 13 of 15 results Claude cited matched Brave's top results. Checking that your key pages appear in Brave Search is worth a few minutes.
AI answers vary from run to run. In a SparkToro and Gumshoe study of 2,961 prompt runs across ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI, the tools gave the same list of brands less than 1% of the time. That's why Nuwtonic runs each prompt daily and reports coverage across runs instead of one snapshot.
A mention is your brand name appearing in the answer. A citation is a link to a page Claude used as a source when it searched. You can be mentioned without being cited, and your page can be cited in an answer that recommends a competitor. Nuwtonic tracks both.
Claude builds answers from what it knows and, when it searches, from the sources it finds. If the review sites, threads and lists it reads name a competitor and not you, the competitor gets recommended. Nuwtonic shows those sources, the claims Claude quoted and the pages to fix or get listed on.
That's a separate choice from search visibility. Anthropic says ClaudeBot collects content that may be used for training, while Claude-SearchBot and Claude-User fetch pages for search and for people's questions. Anthropic says blocking those two may reduce your visibility in Claude's answers, so keep them allowed in robots.txt if you want to be cited.
Still a small share, but growing fast. SE Ranking found Claude sent 2.62% of global AI referral traffic in early 2026, and 3.70% in the US, with its share of all website traffic up 320% from 2025. Your own numbers can be very different: Nuwtonic's AI Analytics shows them from your Google Analytics 4 data.
Yes. Connect Google Analytics 4 and Nuwtonic's AI Analytics shows sessions, users, engagement and time on site from Claude and other AI assistants. You can see them for your whole site or for each landing page, compared with Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo on the same URL.
Check four things: whether it runs each prompt more than once, which AI engines it covers, whether you see the brands and pages Claude uses instead of you, and whether it tells you what to change on your page. Most Claude rank tracking tools stop at a mention count. Nuwtonic adds the citation gap, the page-level fix and the AI traffic your visibility brings in.
AI Citation Gap Analysis appears for that prompt automatically. Enter the URL you want Claude to use and run the Advanced Citation Gap Fix. In a couple of minutes you get the content to add, the technical issues to fix and what to add, replace or restructure under each section.
Every day. Each tracked prompt runs daily in Claude and the other AI engines, so you see changes in mentions, citations and position day by day. You can also run any prompt again at any time with Run now.
Yes. Each prompt runs for a country you choose, and the Prompt Run screen shows the country next to every prompt, so you can compare markets.
ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini, Perplexity, Llama and Grok. For every prompt you can compare citation rate and top 3 rate by engine.
Bronze tracks 15 prompts, Silver 60 and Gold 200+. Nuwtonic suggests 90 prompts to choose from when you set up.
Join more than 2,300 brands and agencies. Your 7-day free trial includes 500 credits to add and run prompts and optimize 2 pages. Then connect Google Analytics to see the visitors Claude sends.
